I loved this book! Not only does Parsons have a British sensibility, but he also has a no-nonsense sensibility that one can only conclude is the result of his years of covering the punk scene as a music journalist. This book allows women a glance into the male mindset, helping us understand it more. I also love how this book doesn't make the protagonist look like some hero for taking care of his child full time - something that most women do and society takes for granted.

Loved this book. I bought all of Tony Parsons books because of this one book but this one was best. You will love his relationship with his son and will be cheering him on throughout most of the book.
