Living with three brothers had taught Danielle Hemstead what she didn't want in a husband. "Guys" who can only converse about farming, welding, and hockey won't cut it. And those who prefer a rodeo to a symphony or dusty jeans to a nice suit were not for her. Unfortunatley her hometown was full of guys like her brothers. Until a new man moved into town...a churchgoer who was cultured, wears suits, and most important is nothing like her brothers...is it meant to be?
Enjoyable - story about finding love near home while having faith in God.

This one made me laugh out loud! If you need to add some smile to your day or brighten your life a bit I suggest reading this book!
A story of a young girl already through with college and living at home in a small canadian town and wants to move to the big city but is afraid if she leaves chaos will reign at home with her three brothers and their father. The brothers attempt match making... I enjoyed the book.

Any Man of Mine by Carolyne Aarsen
Holmes Crossing Series Book Five
Danielle Hemstead has wanted to leave the small town of Preston. And her three brothers where were definitely âguysâ not âmenâ as she categorizes them. The difference? Guys do all those rude, obnoxious guy things while a man, didn't. A man would put a woman first. Her brothersâguysâput themselves first. Danielle could cook, clean, do laundry, and all of that without a thanks. Even though she works too, they still load everything on her.
And if she ever brings a âmanâ home? Well, her brothers make sure he doesn't come back. They even try to match her up with their idea of the perfect âguyâ for her. No thanks. And now that she's finally ready to move to the big cityâaway from all of thisâshe might just have found the perfect man. Yes, in her own small town.
This story is told from Danielle's point of view only. I read the older version from Steeple Hill. There is now an updated version. I really enjoyed this story. After reading it nine years ago, I just reread it and enjoyed...and cried...all over again. I didn't realize her friend Tracy's story is in the previous book, A Silence in the Heart, so I'd suggest reading that one first.
