A cute fast read. Better than the average "chick lit" romance, but maybe not quite as good as the author's best (IMHO Bet Me is the best Crusie).
I did find the heroine's unfortunate penchant for injuring her dates pretty funny. One ends up in a pool, another has a "heart incident", one has a problem with a horse, and another ends up over a cliff and covered in poison ivy. Finding a guy willing to brave dating Kate isn't going to be easy.

Definitely the worst Jennifer Crusie book I've read. Too short by far!! It was a nice story, but it really should have been longer, the ending just fell.
funny, crusie books are great
Very fun, easy read!!
A light, fun read.
funny and romantic, I really enjoyed it
Another great romance by Jennifer Crusie! This book is a quick read, really funny, with really wonderful characters.
Anything by Crusie is great!
What a fun book...another Crusie classic.
A quick, cute little romance that has a few laugh-out-loud funny moments.
i really liked this book
fast read, cute and fun.
Kate Svenson is such a fun character to follow... her bad luck with men is extremely amusing. Even though Kate is in her 30's she really seems to "come of age" in her quest for satisfaction and a life-long relationship.
Good easy read. Storyline is somewhat predictable (hey, it's a romance novel!), but getting there is the fun!
A fun, quick read; one of her better works.
funny, sexy and charming. I will read anything Cruise writes!
A wonderful read by Jennifer Crusie. I enjoyed the book and liked reading something that had some cute laugh out loud moments. I was ready to read about her friend, Jessie's romance or even about the brother, Will. A great lighthearted read.
Very funny
good story
This is such a fun book. I enjoy Jennifer Cruise's writing style and her characters dialogue is so quick and witty.
Romantic comedy at its best. Snappy dialogue, attractive characters.
Fun, light read. Typical Crusie.
This book is a quick read. I'd consider it "chick-lit"
Quick read. Lighthearted romance.
Yet another fun little Jennifer Crusie book...
I have read all of Crusies books, so I am sorry they all kinda run together, but this one was a lot of fun!
excellent. Quick read. Very funny and real!
Fun quick read.
Wickedly funny tale!
This was a great fun book to read!
good reading. I recommend all of her books.
Kate Svenson has what she thinks any woman would want: beauty, money, a successful career, and an apartment full of French Provincial furniture. Unfortunately, she also has too much time and lonliness on her hands. Tired of the single life, Kate and her best friend, Jessie, come up with the plan to beat all plans. Thus begins Kate's search for the perfect man. Armed with her list of qualifications (tall, distinguised and successful), Kate heads to Toby's Corner, Kentucky, home of The Cabins Resort and vertical golf -- a magnetic haven for the suave businessmen of Kate's desire.
Well, it started out a good plan... Within the first few days of her arrival, Kate has managed to attract men that meet her requirements but with disastrous results. The only thing decent out of the whole trip? The two new friendships she's made: Penny, gorgeous and engaged, who feels she needs to do a little harmless dating before she's tied down for good, and Jake, the rugged resort handyman and exact opposite of the man of her dreams. Hopeless and exhausted, Kate is on the verge of giving up. But wait...is there a light at the end of this tunnel after all?
