Clean, concise prose blends this multi-generational story of the ways in which humans are often the landscapes they inhabit. Thoughtful and insightful.

This is an amazing, complicated story. I found it to be a bit slow and difficult at first, it is not easy reading and I found myself having to slow down from my usual reading style to make sure I was getting the whole picture. The writing style is beautiful, lyrical. The character development is amazing, interesting and very unique characters that really come to life as the story unfolds. This is a very engaging and interesting book.
