An excellent resource to teach a child how to read and use many types of maps, charts, and graphs. Beginning with simple maps to review the cardinal directions, this book progresses to more complex examples which will require higher-level thinking and reasoning skills, advanced reading comprehension, and math skills. The maps, charts, and graphs are presented in full-color, and the subject matter is interesting as well. As a homeschooling parent, I enjoy using materials that are not only teaching important skills, but are attractive and enjoyable to the student as well.
