This book of Jeffs can take you through Marathon training whether you are a seasoned runner or a beginner! It was a huge help to run the half we did last year!
If you are a regular person who wants to complete a marathon, then here is my advice. First, get this book. Then, join a running club to train with others. The "walk-run" method described in this book is the only way to go. I trained for the Los Angeles marathon using this method and completed the race in March 2004! So can you! :)
I found that his method was quite helpful and really encourages you to listen to your body and take care of yourself. Much better than other writers who might encourage you just to run run run :)
