This is one of my favorite books on Marilyn's final months. It is a very detailed and well researched account of her involvement with Fox and the making of Something's Got To Give,as well as her affairs with JFK and Bobby. I liked the fact that the authors documented how the problems with Liz Taylor and the making of Cleopatra added to the pressure Fox put on Marilyn to finish the movie and to push her even when she was very sick with severe sinusitis. The only issue I had with this book is that they used Robert Slatzer as a credible source, he only met Marilyn once and made up stories about being married to her so that he could make money and sell books. Aside from that, this is a great book and portrays Marilyn as a real human being with real problems, like the rest of us.
