I'm a shooter and a lifetime hand-loader. This book is Carlo Hathcocks' story- a Marine who's combat life probably saved more American lives than any other single individual. His feats are legend among shooters. An amazing man. Shy and self effacing. All he ever really wanted to do was shoot and serve his country. He did both supremely well. This ia a book you should read.

I am an avid military history buff. This book, in all its glory, details what life was like for one of the most skilled scout/snipers in Vietnam. Very in depth book describes life behind enemy lines, the beginnings of the scout/sniper program, and even the art of countersniping. I recommend it to anyone with an interest in military history, specifically Vietnam conflict.

Amazing story of Carlos Hathcock's. Unbelievable stories of missions and tales from the most famous Marine Sniper in the history of the Marine Corps.
