I read this book and it so reminded me of my black lab Tango who we had to put to sleep a few years ago, and she was almost an exact copy of Marley. This book made me laugh and cry (a lot) because it reminded me so much of my beloved lab. If you're a pet owner, this is a must read. If you have kids that want an animal, let them read this book so they can see what it is like to raise an animal and to loose it as well so that they will understand what they will have to go through if they choose such an animal, because losing someone is never easy.

If you read one book this is a must. Movie was good, but the book so much better. Makes one understand what unconditional love means. Own a dog & you'll know the feeling. Truly they are man's & woman's & children best friends, to say the least. Beautiful written. Many thanks to the author for this wonderful story.
