I tried to think how to review this book and I have one word--fascinating

When you start getting into how the The Pact works then you think of Scientology and a cult and it will have you fascinated enough to continue reading just to see what happens next.

I didn't have any problem getting into this book, the story flows along well enough to keep your interest and you'll have questions--what? why? huh? WTF?(excuse me)

It kind of reminds me of Stephen King or Dean Koontz in their early days (I don't read either of them now), I guess you'd say it's kind of chilling but yet a thriller
