This is the third book in a trilogy. It is a stand alone book, but is better if read after the other two books. Carlie is the young widow of the mobster killed in book 1.. in fact, you meet her in that book. Her husband was a client of Lauren's brother's from book 2. The best thing about this book is that is pulls everything together from the other 2 books! Dan Maddox is the FBI agent assigned to protect Carlie until she testifies at a mob trial... and that is no easy job! This book is like a run away train going up and down the eastern sea board... running around Epcot and Disneyworld... and everything in between! Sweet story.

This is the third in Ginny Aiken's series of "Mob" stories. I love this authors way of blending humor with intrigue. She keeps the action going and spices it with romance and intrigue. Hope she continues to write in this vein, the Inspirational Romantic Suspense genre. One of my fav authors. Hope you will find that you like them too.

A spitfire wife of a recently slain mob boss was much more than FBI agent Dan Maddox had bargained for when he signed on to protect Carlotta Papparelli. After turning state's evidence, Carlie was at the top of the mob's hit list, and it was up to Dan to keep her alive long enough to testify. From the streets of Philly to the sun-drenched Florida coast, Dan and Carlie were running for their lives, and only their faith in each other-and the Lord-would keep them safe...
This is a truly funny, but sit on the edge of your seat suspense/romance.
