Read this after reading "Well of Stars" so I had an idea what the universe would be like. However, it was interesting and worth the read.

An AMAZING future fiction book filled with grand ideas and overwhelming vistas. It is easily one the top ten best sci fi books of all time and it also is easily the most underrated sci fi book of all time. If you liked Rama you will LOVE this.

A giant spacecraft converted into a planet sized cruise ship, crewed by future humans and filled with a variety of aliens, travels the galaxy looking for.... enlightenment? Action and adventure with a healthy dose of intrigue and civil war follow. Don't miss this entry by sci fi's new Clarke.
