Great first book in MacLean's series about American Heiresses moving into English society. Sophie is a lovable heroine and the subplots add to the enjoyable quick read.

Amusing story about an upstart American who goes to the London season to find a husband. Without quite intending to, she winds up married to the Duke. It just takes a while for them to understand each other.
