Mary Engelbreit shows you how to brighten up those dark winter months with this collection of fun craft projects.
Not a big book, but fun all the same.

This was the first of the "season" books I got, and I loved the cute little Christmas trees. I taught preschool at that time and my 2 -3 year olds made them for their parents. The projects are easy and cute, and adapt well to personal ideas. The recipe for the Dutch pancake is also easy and delicious.

I'm not much for cooking, but there are some great, very quick and easy recipes in this book that will remain in my collection, even if the book passes on: Cherry (pie) Fold-up and Dutch Baby (It's sort of a thick, baked pancake served in wedges - yum!). And it's not all recipes. How about a simple to make bird feeder made from a vintage tea or coffee pot, or a pretty little evening "pocket" bag made from scrap material and trim? A great book with a new idea on every page.

Cute little book with recipes, craft ideas and fun thoughts about winter, from Christmas to St. Pat's day. My copy doesn't have a dust jacket but it is cute without it.
