This series is pretty good, I think of it as part of my "methadone" list books to read to tide me over while I'm waiting for favorites.

"Her trip back in time to 1785 Soctland was supposed to be a vacation, so why did Blythe feel that her stay at the MacKenzie castlewould be anything but?..."
A fun read with a few twists along the way.

I love demons & vampires but can't say I enjoyed this book. Read half way & just could not finish which is unusual for me.

When I first heard about this book I wasn't sure that I even wanted to read it. I'm usually not into historical romance types. However, I'm glad that I decided not to skip this first book of the series. Both the story and characters are a riot. I love the way the characters from this series and her 'Castle of Dark Dreams' series intertwine.

Another view on vampires and what they can and cannot do. A good read.
