The end of the line for apprentice Ceony Twill. She leaves her magician Emery and goes to study for her magicians test at the home of Emery's school nemesis. Of course, Ceony can't help but become involved in the latest murder mystery. A bit rushed to cram everything into the end of this triology. The mystery was a bit lacking, would have liked more info on this nemesis and yes, more romance between Ceony and Emery.
