Each series I begin by Tess Thompson is great. However, she goes to the well too often with the same plotline. In this series, a mysterious matchmaker in Boston finds the right person to match matrimonially with one of the Tutheridge siblings.
Fortunately, the author has tried adding side plots to make the story appear different. In this story, a strange drunk is looking for treasure on Moore Island. In books two and three, there was a great mystery about the death of the patriarch of the Tutheridge family.
The problem is that after three or four books in a series, I get bored with the sameness and drop the series. That is a shame because Tess Thompson is a talented writer. Overall score = G+.
