Another one of my kids favorite books.
I read this book to my boys this year. This one's a keeper at our house, but we are posting a duplicate. It is a story of a pioneer family during the time of the French and Indian War. In his father's absence, young Edward must be brave to protect his family. His bravery involves a very old Spanish gun.
