The high and mightly MAtilda learns new lessons in friendship and kindness.
Great for our medival unit study. My children enjoyed listening to this book on tape. We were not disappointed at the end of this book. It is very good with details from that period.
I am a lover of Karen Cushman. I loved The Midwifes Apprentice and Catherine, Called Birdy. Cushman is a true master of young adult historical fiction. I also love the way she uses strong feminine characters in stories, it is such a juxtaposition for how we perceive women of the time.
