We picked up this book while we were visiting Maui - it turned out to be a really great find. Information is up to date and the book is very well written and layed out. You can go right to the portion of the island you are on, or you can read through the whole book as it travels around the island and look for interesting things to do. We found a recommendation for a snorkeling spot that was absolutely beautiful - the only other people there were those brought in by catamaran to snorkel. There are a whole series of these books - we really liked the one for Oahu as well. Great information and fun to read.
