I go to Maui twice a year for 2 weeks each time. This is the best Maui travel book I have ever read.

I live on Maui and I use this book almost every weekend to find a little nook or cranny around the island. Whether it's tucked away beaches, rain forest hiking trails, waterfalls and swimming holes, local restaurants or bargain (or not so bargain!) shopping--you'll always find something new to do in this book!

We used this book along with the Kauai book for our most recent trip to Hawaii and they were both very useful. We rented cars on both islands and could easily plan our days using these books. Made for a very efficient day because we had little wasted time trying to figure out where to go or what to see. These books spelled out the locations well and also mapped them to the mile markers so they were easy to find.
