Kay Kenyon ranks right up there with such Sci Fi greats as Frank Herbert. She is a master at creating a believable world and drawing you in right away. This book is new - there were 2 copies of it in a box of books I picked up at a garage sale, so I hope someone else out there enjoys her books as much as I have.
I couldn't get very far, I found the characters repulsive.
