Wonderfully entertaining book about Archy McNally's investigation concerning the background of a young woman. A rich young man wants to marry her, but his mother doesn't think she is good enough.

You've got to love Archy McNally.. bon vivant playboy making his "Discreet Inquiries". This time he meets the ravishing Theodosia Johnson, a woman he is suppose to be investigating, but can't help falling under her spell.
