I was wondering if anyone else is freaked out by the missing McStay family? It creeps me out and I dont know how a family can just disappear and except for there web page set up by there family and a few spots on Nancy Grace and AMW there really isnt much publicity .Just wondered if anyone else is following the story.www.Mcstay Family.com

I haven't followed it but I'm glad to have a web page to read about it.  I did see it on Nancy Grace when they first went missing...but I wish Nancy would stay away from the Lindsey Lohan story's and keep her program to interesting crime stories like this.  You can not imagine what happened to a whole family like this...

I know it is freaky and I think it deserves alot more air time than Paris or Lindsey.There is a family of 4 just gone 2 being children!! I just haven;t heard much about it you would think the media would be all over it?

Just an FYI that this family is still missing and there is still no clues or tips Freaky!

I don't see the Discovery program being on like they said in the article.  I would like to see a whole hour about the missing family.  So sad for the relatives.  Please post if anyone else see's when the program is going to be on.  I checked Discovery's web site.

I was wondering if it is on the program Disappeared I watch that every week. I do know it says it airs tommrow . If anyone finds out when it and where it is on please post it I really want to see what if anything has changed.

I found it on the ID channel at 9pm here on the series dissappered Called  Mystery At The Border.

It's been a year today....Just watched a DVR program of Nancy Grace's missing person program  from last week and it was about the McStay family.  I'm surprised the dogs were alive when discovered...it had been several days before the family was discovered missing.  They did have a video of a man and woman with 2 small children walking into Mexico but they don't know for sure if it was them.  I hope we find out what happened to them

There was some strange stuff on Jane Valdez Mitchell  if u didnt see it catch it later tonite it was about the Mc Stay familly and I didn;t see all of it but it seems they have  more info.

The program said that the police say that it was the family walking into Mexico on the video.  Also..the wife had bought a Rosetta-stone language learning set of Spanish and Italian.

The wife had also done a computer search about children needing passports for Mexico.  The husbands brother said they did not empty their bank account and he thinks maybe they were being threatened by someone and they felt they had to take off or were kidnapped.  The wife had a few name changes in her life also.

Yeah she change her name legally before they got married I guess ever since she was little she had wanted to change her name to Summer I dont think that is that strange my sisiter changed her name from Candace(Candy) to Sean she hated her name now the rossetta stone is strange Summer looks  Hispanic and her husband and children could pass for Italian.And just because they say they arent in the witness protetection doesn;t mean they aren,t  I read a book about the WPP and they cannot disclose to anyone if they are or aren;t This is just the stanges case.

I wish you lived next door Heather:)   I make my poor husband ( who has no interest in crime stories) listen to all of the Dateline and 48 Hour stories after I watch them.  He dislikes Nancy Grace and he has to watch it every evening while we eat dinner.  None of my friends like true crime..so it is a lonely genre! ha

I know what you mean my husband trries to be interested but I know he isnt listening to much I have said after the first five minutes, My daughter says it's warpped but she reads Nicholas Spark  books my oldest son reads some he enjoies reading about the old time soccer hooligans in England and my youngest is reading On The Road &; Just finised Crime and Punishment  but non of them like True Crime Im so glad I found this site . I also noticed we are all women who post on this forum  how odd,

The Mc Stay family is still missing it is so sad. I just don;t understand.If they left and walked across the border they planned to come back since there were all kinds of new expensive toys in the back of there vechical. I hope maybe they did just run off but I just don;t think so.

Well here we are all these months later and still no closer to figuring out what happened then when they first disappeared how terribly sad.To lose a family member to crime is awful but to lose a whole family and have no resolution has to be devastating the not knowing is the worst. I hope this is resolved soon one way or another.

There has never been anything uncovered about why the family would have to run into the night.  But I did find it curious that the wife changed her name.  What would make an adult just change their name?  Could it be a clue as to what happened to the family?  What I mean is this:  maybe the wife liked to up and change things.  Maybe she said to the husband:  let's start over some place new.  The only thing that is strange is that their money was left behind and they had just bought the house.  But who really knows?  WIthout more information or clues it just remains one of those mysteries that may never be solved.  I just hope if they decided to leave they are doing well where ever they may be......

Wel the McStays are still missing with no new info this case really creeps me out .I was hopeing for some new news by now.Has anyone else heard anything?

E! Investigates has a new program about the McStay family.  The Family Who Vanished.  I see it is on again tomorrow morning.  E! usually repeats this kind of program regularly. I DVR'd it the other night and it is on again right now.

Wow still no clues I just can't believe this could happen.
