What about witness protection?  They said on one show they checked to see if they were in Witness protection but they couldn't find that out or announce it if they were. I also wondered if they just left to live a more carefree life seemed they didn't want to move away from the  beach? He liked to surf maybe they are living on a beach in some remote place? Maybe I'm wishful thinking.

The Mcstay family was finally found sadly all are dead they were found in a desert in shallow graves it puts to rest wether they left willingly but not what happened to the wonderful family. I was sad to see how this ended.

What a tragic end to this story.   I wonder if they'll ever find out what happened.  The whole story is just so bizarre.

I don;t know if they will ever solve it because of the amount of time passing ,I hope they can find out who was so sick as to kill two little boys and there parents .I hate to say it but all of them being killed and buried in the desert does kind of remind you of how the cartel operates .Since nothing was taken I don;t know what else would make someone kill a whole family.Tragic :(

Hopefully, they have finally found justice for this poor family.

I was so happy they caught him it made sense the last call made was to his partner I hope he gets what's coming to him to kill a whole family in cold blood probably over money    I'm glad the family has an answer to what happened finally.

I was hoping to DVR an update on the story a few weeks ago but it was pre-empted and I never got to see it :(

I tried to DVR that one also I hope they air it again.
