Read if you LOVE LOVE LOVE Ricky Martin. But it was too touch-y-feel-y, New Age-y for me.

I wanted more concrete details about his life and his journey. Instead, the whole book reads like an extended journal entry where Martin entreats everyone to just LOVE THEMSELVES!!!!!

That theme is reinforced by annoyingly skipping back and forth through the chronology of his career in order to fit each chapter into nice and easy sections. All it did was annoy me.

We already love you Ricky, so next time please give us more information!

No pictures except the front cover. True to the title, the first 20 references to people in chapter 1 are either "me", "my" or "I".

Ricky Martin walks you through his life. Talks about his music career, his acting career and himself coming to terms and making peace with being Gay. He also talks about being a Father and finding himself being a Activist. Very open and honest. Does not name drop or bash. Highly recommend this well written book.
