I don't know where to begin! This book had such promise as a bunch of privileged suburban wives having nothing to do but play games and Google each other looking for secrets. When Caroline decides to Google herself, she uses her maiden name no one else knows and finds facts about herself and her family that she frantically rejects.
Caroline tries to find out why she remembers her past as being totally different from what she discovers online. She seeks help with a psychologist and was bewildered when he said she was a former patient.
It's like a "Tilt-A-Whirl" from then on along with the dizziness and much confusion! So many twists and turns you can't keep up with, turned frenzied Caroline into an emotional trainwreck.
This story kept me reading into the wee hours of the night, All I can say is the disbelief at the ending was stunning!

I found the first half a little monotonous, but things start moving along in the second half. It gets even more interesting near the end as multiple surprise twists are revealed.
Caroline is a normal suburban mom of two little girls busy with bake sales, swim meets and the school drop off line. But she googles her maiden name one day and sees all kinds of articles about her past - that she does not remember. Suddenly she starts to remember things - her sister died, she had a hysterectomy in college, etc. She begins to investigate and opens up an entire box of lost memories and scandals. I raced through reading this book seeing her confusion and anxiety about what happened and how it all happened. You start to see some glimpses that show Caroline was a little disturbed years ago and had a disturbing childhood with a mother who was a little mental. And then the twist at the end - her sister not only died, but was murdered - by Caroline. And then did she really lose/repress her memory - or is that all made up? Is she really a devoted mom or is she really psycho? Very well written. Left me with questions and wondering what will happen next with her sweet unsuspecting husband and children.
