GOOD BOOK FOR THING AND REFELCTION..
Spin-off of The Woman of Brewster Place, good quick read
Had a hard time getting through this book. Not exactly the kind of book I like. Was recommended by a friend who loves this kind of book. So I am passing it on to someone who I am sure will like it.
From the back cover: "Finally, what all of us who loved Gloria Naylor's THE WOMEN OF BREWSTER PLACE were waiting for: the stories of the men of Brewster Place! In this elegantly constructed book, we hear the voices of men struggling to understand themselves and the women in their lives. Gloria Naylor gives us the other half of the story and so creates a fuler, more comprehensive vision, not just of Brewster Place, but of the human heart."
