Angie Carlson, known as the Barracuda, for her no-nonsense defence lawyer tactics, is still feeling guilty for getting Dr. James Dixon off for allegedly raping a prostitute. Detective Malcolm Kier can't stand her for what she did; he knew Dr. Dixon was guilty.

It can be read alone, but the reader will gain much more character background if they read Senseless first. Exceptional writing, superb characters, edge-of-your-seat suspense that will send chills up your spine, and a passionate romance all mold together into a stellar good read!

Another of Mary Burton's exciting books! This is the sequel to the first book called "Senseless"....read that one first then pick this one up to continue the story....think you will enjoy them both!
WOW! This is a fantastic sequel to Senseless and be sure to read Senseless first and have Merciless on hand to start it right away, it is a great continuing 2-book story!
Excellent book. Read it in one day. Very very good writing. Can't wait to read the next one.
