What an amazing book! It is a (mostly) fictional story with fictional and real characters, writen during a vey interesting time in Europe, when Christian "rebel" priests were beginning to transate the Bible to English and other languages other than Latin. The characters are well developed, believable, and the story is full of twists and turns but you never lose sight of what is going on with each character. I could not put this book down. I read it in two days! I highly recommend it.
