Just seven days to go!!  I'll be baking cookies and tea breads for the neighbors tomorrow, and watching all the Christmas movies I can!  Wahoo!!  Cannot wait for a six day reprieve from work!!

Merry Christmas to all my book club buddies!!!

Thank you, Merry Christmas to you!

I'm having a hard time getting reading in, too much kitchen creating and present buying/wrapping. I love Christmas but I love when it's over too, lol.

I only make carmels for the holidays.  I trade them off for some cookies my sister makes.  Some years I've made as much as 20 pounds,  This year I've only made ten pounds.

I've worked a few extra days teaching classes, knowing that there won't be much opportunity to work with the holidays.

I've been reading (gasp) romance novels cuz I can put them down and pick them up and don't have to remember much about the story line.

Have a nice holiday.   (This isn't meant to be politically correct, it's just fool proof for year round use.)

With all the ordeal about Sweetie I just realized I don't have any presents wrapped. I have them all bought but not wrapped.

Merry Christmas to you too and Happy Holidays to any non Christian book clubbers. Thanks for the reminder ;)

Wrapping is the worst part. I'm giving all the kids a small present and some cash this year, they're getting too old to buy generic presents and I don't know what they like. They have had the nerve to mature and develope likes and preferences if you can believe that. Bunch of brats. Less to wrap anyway :)

I've made a ton of fudge so far. Caramels sound good but I haven't tried to make them yet.
