my children, ages 4-10, love her stories. she draws them in quickly and keeps rheir intersest with dazzling drawings and dialogs.
Well, it is claimed that it is based on a true story, but if you look up Union City Michigan meteor, there's no scientific evidence that it's a meteor, (it looks a lot like pink granite, say a lot of posters) and some claim that PP (who runs a meteor festival there in her home town) threatens to sue anyone who question her story. Thunder Cakes is another story where she doesn't let science get in the way of a good story. But no one seems too upset about that.
