I loved this! I had not read any of the other Michael Tolliver books and I got this from PaperBackSwap because it was an available audiobook and because it would hit one in my 2018 PopSugar Reading Challenge Prompt #12 Book with an LGBTQ protagonist.
And boy was this fun! Great as an audio book, narrated by the author I'm sure that helps. His humor is just right for me, I loved the cast of characters, could identify with some of them, and laughed hysterically at others, and got misty-eyed with others. I just plain enjoyed it for what it is and I would absolutely read more by Armistead Maupin - especially in self-narrated audiobook, about Michael Tolliver.
