This was a good book. Except:
I wish romance authors when they go and write a more mainstream kind of book that they would not cop out and give us intimate moments in secondary characters before the intimate moments of the hero and heroine. Many of the best selling romance authors who make this transaction write that sort of book. The author gives the reader sexual encounters by the secondary characters but not intimacy between the important characters.
It's like there is a rule in woman's fiction and mainstream fiction that you can't allow the main protaganists to be too intimate, too soon. I know those genres want plot, but everyone knows that a spectactular plot is nothing without the great characters.
Oh well.
That's my opinion.
