Kate Shugak solves mysteries in Alaska. All are marvelous, and each is different.
I wait anxiously for the next Kate Shugak to
appear and rush to buy it. This one broke my heart but really moved the story ahead.

I like mysteries, but for some reason I never "clicked" with this book. It was well written however, and the setting was unique.
Native Alaskan investigator Kate Shugak takes refuge in her beloved wilderness after a tough case, but finds that mystery comes after her. A great read!
