This book is a quick read 90-page novella, done in wonderful Robb style.
Helpful Score: 1
A shorter, but still satisfying Eve Dallas mystery. Dallas and Dr. Mira are on an escaped killer's Christmas list and he is knocking them off quickly.
this has to be good it is j,d. robb a.k.a. nora roberts
Another emjoyable read in this series. I always enjoy connecting with Robb's characters, although this books is so short some of my favorites were missing.
J.D. Robb/Nora Roberts is an excellent writer. I love her books!
Great author. Love her books.
Really Good book
this is a wonderful series! Short but still good reading
Eve's name has made a Christmas list, but it's not for being naughty or nice. It's for putting a serial killer behind bars. Now the escaped madman has her in his sights. With her husband, Roarke, at her side, Eve must stop the man from exacting his bloody vengeance--or die trying.
Very short book, Christmas theme, typical Robb, gritty, fast-moving,
futuristic.
futuristic.
nice short read.
Short, but just as good as the others.
Another winner from J. D. Robb/Nora Roberts.
The J.D. Robb "In Death" series are best when read in order - great series.
a short edition to the beloved in death series
I love powerful Lt. Eve Dallas and how the complex New York City crimes are solved. If you don't wanna bite her husband, don't read these books! Nora Robert's best writing is as JD Robb in this "In Death" series of some 30+ stories to date. I collect all of the JD Robb books, but skip the Roberts, whose stories are not as tight as those about Lt. Eve Dallas - ass kicker! If the future of New York City is like this, I fear these futuristic killers who are sneaky and complex.
A favorite series of mine, and a good read. I love the Eve Dallas books!
Good stuff as always...even for a shorty...
Nora Roberts writing as J. D. Robb, propels you into the darkest night of Lieutenant Eve Dallas's life---when a killer comes to call....
great quick read
Short but sweet. Nice to read because you don't have to wait for a conclusion. Still has great Eve Dallas twists and turns!
Good Read!
Any In Death book should be at the top of any reading list. Eve, Roarke, and the rest of the cast will enchant you, and the murder plots will enthrall you.- Grand Forks Herald

Quick read. Only 90 pages long. I love the In Death series!!
The number-one New York Times best selling in Death series explodes with intrigue, passion, and suspense.
This is a short 90 page book, as the original story was included in an anthology, but it's a definite read for any Eve Dallas fans.
Great!
Reading all of them in order!
Reading all of them in order!
This is a short (90 pages) story about Eve and Roarke. If you are a fan of this series you will enjoy this book.
This is an interesting series. It is a definite seat of the pants thriller.
A novella just 90 pages long, this story captures all the Eve Dallas/Roarke chemistry without much of the by-play between tangential characters. Though published in 2005, the book takes place during the first year of Dallas' & Roarke's marriage. On Christmas Eve, it is discovered that someone Eve put away 3 years before has escaped and is killing everyone connected to his conviction, ending with Eve. A fast and satisfying read.
Short quick story with Lt. Eve Dallas tracking a serial killer right before her first New Year's with her hubby Roarke.
quick but good read!
At 90 pages this is a quick but satisfying read. To any fan this is a good addition to the series, especially if 'Holiday in Death' is read first.
this short story (its only 90 pages) was first published in the anthology "Silent Night". Eve and Roark are targets of a serial killer who has escaped from prison.
Short read but very good! She keeps you on your toes and interested in the story.
It may be short, but it packs all the things you expect of a J.D. Robb book between the covers!
Lieutenant Eve Dallas is in her usual form in this Christmas thriller. Lots of fun.
Good book
I'm a huge fan of the in death series and although this book is short, it does not disappoint!
Love Eve Dallas
If you don't care for Nora Roberts BUT love Mystery/Dark Thrillers with a side of romance and a dash of comedy - then I think you'll love J.D. Robb's ... In Death series written by Nora Roberts alter ego.
I won't go into the details of the books but will tell you this: Superb character development, continuity of the story line (which means you really need to read the books in order although they can stand alone) is top notch, the relationships that are webbed and weaved together throughout each page are phenomenal and let's the reader 'really' get to know the characters.
