Upon her release from the hospital, Alesandro offers her his home and fortune by means of a generous benefactor. It isn't until later she learns who her benefactor is.
This is not your run-of-the-mill vampire story. This is not a corny vampire that you see in many vamp-romances, Alesandro is a complex, caring creature. Ms. Ashley doesn't sugar-coat Alesandro being a vampire either, she lets you see the drawbacks he faces, as well as the fears he harbors.

Midnight Embrace, is a very good vampire book to read.I couldnt put it down, its not like most vampire books. And i read a lot of them. But if you want a good vampire book you must read [The Brother Hood books] About some very good vampire men.Each book tell you about a diffrence youn vampire and there life & there love to a lady.

Just getting into the Vampire genre. Enjoyed it, although it is one of her earlier works.
Amanada Ashley is the Queen of Vampiric Romance... a bit cliche, but a quick and erotic read...Her characters are well fleshed out and the romance is good, not sleezy...
One of my favorites! A book about vampires with a historical setting. I would like to read more from this author.
I was pleasntly supprised by this book. In general it is WAY off my typical genre, I don't like romance but this was the exception. It was a real page turner for me. I just might have to read more by her! I give it two thumbs up!
Loved this book. Alesandro & Anilisa are great characters with a great story. If you like Amanda Ashley, you'll love this book.

When I was done reading this book, I started it all over again! A must for those who love romance, and those who are vampire fans!
Was one i couldnt put down was more interesting than some of her others.
Analisa and Alejandro are so romantic! He saves her life and he tries to protect her while drawn to have her. Oh, to have all my dreams come true!
