Angus Moy, Chief of Clan Chattan, was everything Lady Anne could want in a husband -- until the winds of war made him turn traitor. Torn between her faith in her king and love for her husband, Anne joins her people in battle. But when she is captured by the enemy, Angus has but one chance to rescue her -- and redeem himself in the eyes of the woman he had vowed to honor and protect forever.

Powerful, brave and irresistibly seductive, Angus Moy was everything Lady Anne could desire in a husband and a lover, until the winds of war tore through Scotland. Angus knows only too well the price of war. But something else makes him play the traitor-a secret he keeps from Anne. As the tides of battle turn and Anne is captured by the enemy, Angus has but one chance to rescue her-and redeem himself in the yes of the woman he loves.

I very much enjoyed this book.

I could really identify with this book as Lady Anne the heroine is a "distant" relative of mine. Of course this is a fictionalized account of end of the Clan system of centuries old Scotland but it does remain true to historical facts and one can easily see the story could have taken place. A must read if you are into all things Scottish.
