I loved this book. In this book we learn more about Sir Drake and what has made him the hard man he has become. Drake lost his fiancée Sandy 5 years ago due to the vengeance of a drug lord. Since that time, he has not gotten close to any woman. Now he is being forced to work with another female agent named Tori. He can't explain why he is so drawn to her but realizes that she reminders him so much of Sandy. Together they must confront and defeat the drug lord who caused so much grief in their lives. The chemistry between Drake and Tori was awesome. It takes a strong woman to handle a man like Drake, and Tori was more than able. Brenda Jackson always does a wonderful job telling a story. I love the way she describes the characters and their surrounding so that the reader can actually picture what's going on.
Once, CIA agend Sir Drake Warren gave his heart to a woman- a fellow Marine whose death in an explosion left him aching for justice. Drake vowed he would never love again. But his devotion to his former lover is tested when he meets his mysterious new partner, Agent Victoria Green. With golden brown eyes, and skin like melted chocolate, Victoria leave Drake yearning for the love he lost - and flirting so closely with the white-hot passion he once knew, he's sure he'll get burned....
