I'm impressed. I did not read the first book in this series, but I was very impressed with how well this story was put together. There was a lot of depth to The main characters. Lyra is a were-wolf alpha's daughter who is hoping to become the next alpha. Jaden is a cat-vampire (I know it sounds weird) who feels drawn to Lyra after he rescues her from another were trying to rape her. There is the obvious normal structure to this story that all of these vamp books follow, but I was not at all bored, and was surprised at the tangled web that was created for this one. Hot and steamy, but mostly sexual tension and drama.
