Meltzer is a winner. He only has a handful of novels out to date, and I have been more and more impressed each one I read. The stories are fresh, the characters real and the writing is excellent.
The Millionaires is about two brothers (who you will never forget) that make a decision that will change their lives forever. You will think about Charlie and Oliver long after you finish the book.

Great read! As usual, Brad Meltzer keeps you entertained from beginning to end with his cat and mouse chase story line.

This is a great book! I couldn't put it down! Two brothers working at an exclusive private bank are faced with an offer they can't refuse--$3million in an abandoned account no one even knows exists. Good fun, fast-paced thriller.

A great suspense/thriller about banking & cybertheft...gone wrong. Loved it!

Another night sleep lost thanks to Brad Meltzer. If you haven't read his books you are really missing a treat. This is the story of two brothers who are basically honest but have money problems. A three million dollars bank account that has been unclaimed for 5 years is to good to pass up. Little did they know that someone else also had the same idea.

Not bad , was not my favorite

Brad is an amazing storyteller. In this era where every book seems like it is part of a series, Brad stands alone in writing each novel separately with one minor character rearing his head in the background of each novel. This open gives some insight into banking and a race through the underground city beneath Disney World.

Very enjoyable, well-plotted, and surprising 'greed run amok' novel -- lots of menacing characters and two brothers as the heroes -- sort of! Will certainly read this author again!

This book is a fun and easy read with lots of twists and turns. I would recommend it as well as some of Meltzers other books.

This was my first reading of a book by Brad Meltzer. The pace was quick, the characters were likable and the story definately kept you turning the pages. This genre (legal thrillers) was not even what I normally go for. On the urging of a friend I tried and I liked.

You cannot beat Brad Meltzer for a great page turning political thriller. He has become one of my favorite authors and he never fails to deliver a great read! This one involves 2 brothers and a conspiracy within the government. Don't want to tell you too much, just trust me and read it!
A weak premise and not tight writing. I will try him one more time.
from the back: Charlie and Oliver Caruso are brothers working at an ultra-exclusive private bank when they're faced with an offer they can't refuse - three million dollars in an abandoned account no one even knows exists. Almost as soon as they take the cash, a friend is killed and the bank, the Secret Service, and a female P.I. are closing in. Now the Caruso brothers are on the run and about to uncover an explosive secret that will test their trust and forever change their lives.
Loved It!!!!!

I had never read Meltzer and assumed this would be a "guy" book. But, I was surprised.
It is a really good book for guys and gals.

Can you really get away with something big and not get caught!
Good thriller
nice mystery
Great book about two brothers who get involved in a small white-collar crime and quickly find themselves in over their heads. Fun read!
This was a fun and exciting read. I will defiantly read more of Meltzer's books!
A really great read!
Not a bad read. Takes a little bit to get started, but once the action is rolling it's very interesting. Really makes you think about what you would do in if you had that sort of opportunity.
This book had a great plot and a lot of suspense. If you like thrillers this is a great pick.
A tale of two brothers trying to hide in a world where every step you take can be traced. It started as the perfect crime. Then it took a turn for the worse.
Interesting plot and a good read!

I couldn't put this one down. Great suspense and continual unexpected twists throughout! Loved it!
Husband couldn't put this one down! Book jacket says: A Main Selection of Book of the Month Club. First published 2002.
Everyday guys working at a bank have a chance to steal 3 million from the account of a deceased person. It mushrooms into 300 million when they transfer the money. It seems they intruded into someone else's plans.
This is my favorite Brad Meltzer book.
a great thriller and page turner
Kept my interest.
Another of Meltzer's best! What would you do if faced with three million dollars in an abandoned account no one knew existed???
WOW! Amazing. Great read, fast paced, excellent writing. Left me wanting to read more of his novels.
A fast paced thriller with a playful sense of humor. What more do you need?
"A fast-paced thriller...with a playful sense of humor...a classic chase." That's what the Detroit Free Press had to say. I wholeheartedly agree!
Intriguing.
I've read a few books bye this author. Always a great read.
I've never read a Brad Meltzer novel before "The Millionaires" and I honestly think he has a good writing style. Now, this particular book did not satisfy the entertainment value I generally get out of a book (a good one, at least). Three stars for a good use of language, but not a great storyline. (And what's up with the lame "We named our band after the name of the book" ending? That ruined it for me!)
thrilling, brothers working in a private bank discover 3 million dollars in an abandoned account.
Loved all of the twists in the story line.
It started as the perfect crime. Then it took a turn for the worse.
Charlie & Oliver Caruso are brothers who work @ Greene & Greene, a private bank so exclusive you need 2 million dollars just to be a client. But when the door of success slams in their faces, they're faced with an offer they can't refuse: 3 million dollars in an abandoned account. No one knows it exists, and even better, it doesn't belong to anyone.
It's a foolproof crime. More important, for Charlie & Oliver, it's a way out of debt & the key to a new life. All they have to do is take the money.
But when they do, they quickly discover they've got a lot more on their hands than the prize. Before they can blink, a friend is dead - and the bank, the Secret Service, & a femal private eye are suddenly closing in. What invisible strings were attached to that account? How are the brothers going to prove they're innocent? And why is the Secret Service trying to kill them?

Brad Meltzer, the author of the runaway bestseller, The First Counsel, is back with another edge-of-your-seat thriller -- a tale of two brothers trying to hid in a world where every step you take can be traced.

Trapped in a breakneck race to stay alive, Charlie and Oliver are about to discover a secret that will test their trust and forever change their lives.
This is Brad Meltzer at his most electrifying -- a breathtaking, suspenseful stroy about two brothers chasing a dream that may cost them everything they hold dear.
