This book did not receive very good reviews but I have to say, I liked it. The intrigue, danger and suspense was compelling.

Brandon works for a secret government agency. After returning from a mission with her team mates she realizes that their recollection of the events of their mission differs from hers. Parts of her memory are missing and she finds herself waking up in places without memory of how she got there. She suspects that someone is altering her memories but has no one she can trust to discuss her suspicion.

This was fast paced and action packed. There are multiple sex partners, violence and rape . The end was a surprise and will explain alot of what happend to Brandon. Nothing for the faint of heart!

Erotic, contemporary romantic suspense novel from Ellora's Cave. Brandon (a woman) is a secret agent for a covert, super secret part of the government (think Jennifer Garner in "Alias"). Brandon's life is never the same, after a mission in South America. She comes to distrust everyone she knows and works with, and nothing is as it seems. This book is long, drawn out and confusing. The reader is just as confused as Brandon. The story is entertaining, the plot ambitious, convuluted and keeps you guessing. Be warned, this book features the rape and torture of a main character, and the killing of a secondary character. The story also features some consensual D/s. Probably a good book, but I don't care for a lot of violence in my romance novels. This book is probably better than "fair," but not a keeper for me, for the above mentioned reasons.
