This book deals with the studies of our reactions to the world around us, both negative and positive. The unconscious mind, our emotions, even what we see flashed before us all affect the way we react to and believe in our world. Not an easy read, but certainly a fascinating one! D.

A little more informal than most books on the brain--no physiology here, just a folksy review of psychology experiments and what they tell of how the brain works. Although informative and an interesting read, I came away appalled by some of the current research--we may condemn Milgram, but in reality many studies still leave psychological scars on the participants.
