Liz and Tia aren't supposed to have Valentines, yet someone is working up the courage to ask Liz out [and no, you have to wait until the next book to find out who it is] and Tia keeps getting stuff, supposedly from Trent. Maria and Ken agreed not to go over the top, but wacky hijinks ensue, which leads us to Jade and Evan. Evan's still torn up over his parents and their split, so he doesn't do anything for Jade, even when it's obvious to anyone with half a brain cell that she'd like something done.
