It is about a dog who is lonely because the owner has a baby and stopped paying attention to the dog.
We got this as a gift for my daughter when I was pregnant with my son. Basically the dog gets the brush off when the baby arrives, and we were worried my daughter would feel she would get the same. Also, there's a bunch about the baby pulling on the dog, something we were having issues with our daughter and our dog with at the time. Otherwise it's a cute story.
