It was a good summer read; characters a bit plastic, but it lightened my time.

I really like this whole series, and The Mint Julep Murder was especially good. It wasn't until close to the end that I sort of figured out whodunit. I love the character of Annie Darling. She's strong, yet gentle and not afraid to pursue a crime or criminal on her own. Good book!
Annie is hosting 5 authors that are to receive awards. A publisher who wants to be an author has said he is writing a tell all book on the five. He turns up dead and Annie is suspected and must find the real killer. Very good story
