Quite the adventure! The strongest point in the book comes near the end when he hears mention of "The Islamic (Arab) World" repeatedly after the Iraq invasion, thinking (paraphrased) "I kept having to making cultural adjustments with every new country - each was so different!" Hemming expresses himself well and is clearly dedicated to "making art" (the term he uses). He clearly has a very bright future ahead.
I'm witholding the fifth star as the book didn't flow well for me. The artists spent a chunk of time in Iran, where I felt the story bogged down a bit; I put it aside and came back later.
