A story delivered strangely. One chapter, the present, the next the past. Very confusing as the same language is used to end one chapter and begin the next. Hard to keep track where the action is taking place. I didn't really feel a connection between Court and Jade the the present though the encounters in the past were lust-filled but still no real connection.
The mystery of Teddy's death and the cold cases were kind of boring so the relationship between Jade and Court was all there was. Not so great a story. I've certainly read better by Kasey Michaels.

I read Dial M for Mischief, then Mischief Becomes Her. Mischief 24/7 finally rounds out the story while solving the last of the cold cases dad was working on at the time of his death, dad's murder, the murder he was being framed for, AND settled the last of Teddy's girls. Collectively they were a good read. I don't think the other 2 reviewers read the first 2 books in the series.
I am more of a fantasy person, well written but could not get into the subject matter. Would be a great read for people who like romance or thrillers.
