I gave this three stars because, well, it's Steve Hamilton, otherwise this was a two star read. I loved the earlier Alex McKnight books, but this is the ninth in the series and now the books are boring and predictable. All the same stuff in every book, the bar, the killings, the cabins, the snow, the beer and on and on. You get the picture. The next installment won't be a must read for me.
