This book ends any and all excuses to be mean, racist, or superior to any fellow human. Gould is always thorough,frequently to the point of exhaustion, but you always know you have read something well supported with data and supported by history and research and good science...but no guarantee that the book is a page-turner.
Had to read it for class. Unsure if I would have read it on my own.
